The Detail House offers a power washing service for the Greater Boston Area. Our service is personalized for residential homes or commercial buildings who want to look their best.

While some homeowners and commercial buildings may need to pressure wash every few months, a good rule of thumb to follow is to clean the exterior thoroughly at least once every year, with additional cleanings added as needed.

Power Washing vs Soft Washing

Power washing is the tried-and-true method of using high pressure water and heat to blast away dirt, algae, and grime from tough surfaces like concrete or stone.

Soft washing is a specialized cleaning surface designed to clean soft surfaces such as vinyl siding, fencing, or shingles without causing residual damage. This method targets mold, mildew, dirt, algae, and grime through our proprietary blend of chemical solutions and a lower PSI water pressure level.

Will the pressure from the machine cause damage to my home or property?

No, we have the ability to moderate our pressure for delicate or tough stuck-on stains.

Will the products you use harm my plants?

All of our chemicals are biodegradable. We apply our chemicals and products through a downstream soap injector. The product is cut with water by the time it is being applied. We then rinse very well with fresh cold water, assuring there is nothing left behind. We can also cover your plants with plastic sheets upon request.

Do I need to be home for the estimate or work?

We can email estimates to you. We collect a 50% deposit upfront to lock in a date, and the other 50% once the job is complete and you're satisfied with the work. That being said, you do not need to be home. Everything can be done via email, and text for convenience.
